Amlodipine is a medication that helps to dilate blood vessels and improve blood flow, and is hence used to treat hypertension and chest pain (angina). Valsartan is also a medication that helps to relax the blood vessels and reduce the workload on the heart, and is used to treat hypertension and congestive heart failure.
